Footbridge under Maly Kamenny
Pedestrian bridge in the bed of Vodootvodny Canal — from GES-2 under Maly Kamenny to Repin Garden. Stills from June and September 2026.
This is not the 2024 pedestrian bridge to Balchug and not Luzhkov Bridge. The new walk is being built in the bed of Vodootvodny Canal: from the GES-2 House of Culture and Udarnik under Maly Kamenny to Repin Garden, so you do not have to step onto Serafimovicha.
The city announcement of 2 March 2026 gives about 170 m in length and 5.4 m in width. The walk from the square to Udarnik and GES-2 should almost halve. Aim: fourth quarter of 2026. This is not a municipal report: phone stills from Yakimanka.
On 20 June the GES-2 ramp still looked onto a worksite under the bridge. On 7 September the white deck is already in the water — work toward Maly Kamenny is still going on.
