In 1820–1823 French artist Auguste Cadolle drew Moscow from life while the city was rebuilt after the 1812 fire. The result was “Vues de Moscou” — 10 large lithographs of the Kremlin, Red Square, the Foundling Home, the Stone Bridge (Kamenny Most) and Presnya, published in Paris in 1825 and dedicated to Emperor Alexander I. Today the album is a great rarity.
